We have updated our list of domestic coal-fired power plants that are slated to be built, under the bidding process and that have been shutdown. There are plans for 4 new plants which brings the total to 43 and a combined capacity of 21,209MW. Please check back with us for updates!

・Monbetsu biomass Electric (Monbetsu city, Hokkaido) Fuel:biomass for around 85% and coal for around 15%

・Marubeni (Tsuruga city, Fukui prefecture) Fuel: biomass for more than 80%(planning)
