I have long emphasized that a transition to 100% renewable energy is possible. What is important is the determination and action of each and every individual. That determination will move society. I support the campaign to phase out coal power in Japan by 2030. It is up to us to decide our future. Let’s act for the sake of future generations!


Profile

Graduated from Beloit College with a degree in Economics. During his graduation trip, he accidentally visited a war zone and learned much about the reality of the world, inspiring him to work to achieve world peace as his life mission. As a result, in 2002, he founded United People, Corp. to solve global problems. In 2009, he became involved in the film industry, and In 2014 he began operating “cinemo“, a website that enables anybody to organize film screenings on social issues and themes related to SDGs. He produced the film “Mottainai Kitchen“. On Peace Day, September 21, 2021, he started the wine business “United People Wine“.
