・Shikoku Electric Power has announced that it will decommission Unit 3 of the Anan Power Plant (Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture), which is currently suspended, and Unit 3 of the Sakaide Power Plant (Sakaide City, Kagawa Prefecture), which is currently in operation. The company plans to decommission the Anan Unit 3 around June 2026 and the Sakaide Unit 3 in the second half of FY2027. With the decommissioning of these two plants, Shikoku Electric Power’s oil-fired power generation capacity will be reduced to zero.
