Japan Beyond Coal’s database of coal-fired power plants has been updated.

Retired

Joban Joint Power Co., Ltd. announced the retirement of Nakoso Power Station Unit 10, dated at November 16, 2020.
It is noteworthy to mention this Nakoso Unit 10 was one of the integrated coal gasification combined cycle (IGCC) technology units, and was considered to be relatively efficient among other coal-fired power stations.
