This is update on May 7th.
On April 24th, Osaka Gas announced to withdraw from Nishiokinoyama Power Plant (provisional name), Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Regarding this company decision, Kiko Network send the Press Release “Osaka Gas pulls out of coal-fired power plant expansion plan in Yamaguchi Prefecture: J-POWER and Ube Industries should reverse their decision to continue” on the same day.
On April 9, earlier than an announcement of Osaka Gas, the governor of Yamaguchi prefecture released his opinion paper against the draft EIS of Nishiokinoyam project. (PDF, only in Japanese)
