Japan Beyond Coal database update:

Karita Power Station New 1, which had been mothballed since April 2021, has returned to active condition in order to raise the electricity supply availability for this coming summer.

The number of operating units is currently 162 (+1 from last month). The total number of units is 165 including 3 mothballed units (-1 from last month).
