  • On August 1, Yonago Biomass Hatsuden Godo Kaisha Plant submitted a notice of discontinuation of operation of its biomass power plant. That plant had been suspended since a fire accompanied by an explosion in September 2023, and a formal notice of decommissioning has now been submitted.
