  • Nippon Steel Corporation has announced a replace plan for the Tobata Joint Power Plant located in the Yawata area of Kyushu Steel Works, which is 50% owned by Nippon Steel Corporation. It plans to decommission coal-fired power units 2, 5, and 6 by 2040, and build an LNG-fired power plant.
