<Database Update at August 5>
As it is scheduled, JERA started commercial operation of the Taketoyo Power Station Unit 5 on August 5.
This is the one of the biggest coal-fired power stations in Japan with its capacity of 1,070MW, uses ultra-supercritical (USC) power generation system.

In addition, J-Power had announced that it transferred its shares in Itoigawa Power Generation Co., Ltd. (operator of Itoigawa coal-fired power station) to erex Co., Ltd. on August 1. We have updated the operating company data accordingly.
