●JERA submitted Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Proceedings on Units Replacement at Sodegaura Power Plant
On November 4, JERA submitted the Document on Primary Environmental Impact Consideration for construction of the (tentative name) Sodegaura Thermal Power Station New Units 1-3 Construction Project (combined cycle power generation system, 3 units with 2.61M kW capacity). The viewing period has started from November 5, 2025, to December 5, 2025. Comments must also be submitted by December 5. These units are targeted to be resumed in FY2032.
